"A Place to Live"

New Horizons Village is a licensed community residential facility for men and women with developmental disabilities.

In 2006, Scott Greiner acquired the campus.  Previously, he and his family owned and operated the St. Augustine Center for Living Inc., St. Augustine, Florida, an ICF/DD facility for 15 years.

Today, some 80 caregivers serve the 48 New Horizons Village residents. The staff includes direct care workers, nurses, a dietitian, food service personnel, a maintenance crew, social worker, housekeeping, therapists, and administration staff.

New Horizons Village provides 24-hour supervision in addition to its full array of services and care for the developmentally disabled, all designed to help them prosper and achieve as much independence as possible in their daily living.

Reasons why an individual becomes eligible for New Horizons Village residency may include mental retardation with secondary issues that may include autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, behavior and neurological impairment and other factors.

We are trained, staffed - and dedicated - to seeing to the needs of men and women with these disabilities.
